FLY gained about 27% during the period.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Final Countdown Underway As Artemis II Nears Launch</strong></h2><p>Investor focus was at the Kennedy Space Center as operations moved deeper into final launch preparations for Artemis II, with liftoff targeted no earlier than 6.24 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The mission will send four astronauts on a roughly 10-day journey around the Moon, marking NASA’s first crewed deep-space flight since 1972.</p><p>Engineers completed health checks on the rocket’s RS-25 engines, charged Orion’s flight batteries, and prepared core-stage systems ahead of fueling and activation of the automated ground launch sequencer. Crews also conducted pressure-suit leak checks and cleared nonessential personnel from Launch Complex 39B as countdown operations progressed.</p><p>Weather conditions remain favorable for now, with officials estimating an 80% chance of acceptable launch conditions, though cloud cover and winds are still being monitored.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Artemis II Supports NASA’s Moon-Return Plans</strong></h2><p>Artemis II represents the first crewed mission under NASA’s Artemis program and a key systems-validation flight ahead of future lunar landing missions planned later this decade. But the growth in this theme is much broader and accelerating rapidly,” said Yuri Khodjamirian, chief investment officer at Tema ETFs. He added the fund offers “a transparent, actively managed vehicle to access SpaceX alongside the full ecosystem of companies building the space economy of the future.”</p><p>Tema said it absorbs the transaction costs associated with acquiring and maintaining exposure to SpaceX through the SPV structure. The development raises expectations for rising demand across lunar logistics, spacecraft infrastructure, and space-communications platforms.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>SpaceX IPO Plans Add Major Sector Catalyst</strong></h2><p>Investor sentiment was also supported by reports that&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/spacex-ipo-prospectus-near-gary-black-warns-could-pull-investors-from-tesla/cZ3YJCeRI1o">SpaceX</a> is targeting a June IPO that could raise more than $75 billion, potentially exceeding the total raised by all U.S. listings last year.</p><p>The company was last valued at about $1.25 trillion following its recent merger with xAI, and major banks, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup, have reportedly been preparing IPO plans.</p><p>SpaceX is also said to be considering allocating more than 20% of shares to retail investors, above typical levels seen in large offerings.</p><p>The sector has also drawn support from expectations surrounding the proposed Golden Dome missile-defense initiative, a large-scale U.S. missile-defense architecture that is expected to increase demand for satellite networks, sensors, and orbital infrastructure across national-security programs.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>How Did Stocktwits Users React?</strong></h2><p>On Stocktwits, LUNR sentiment was ‘extremely bullish’ with ‘extremely high’ message volume; RKLB and FLY saw ‘high’ message volume with sentiment ‘neutral’ and ‘bullish’, respectively. ASTS sentiment was ‘bearish’ with ‘normal’ message volume, while RDW was ‘neutral’ with ‘normal’ message volume.</p><p>Over the past year, RKLB rose by over 250%, and ASTS gained more than 200%, while LUNR more than doubled.
