While appearing on Yahoo Finance, RBC Capital Markets analyst Rishi Jaluria&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://x.com/YahooFinance/status/1983638459274162355">said</a>, “This is everything we could've asked for.” He underscored the 39% constant-currency revenue growth in Azure, the broad-based beat across every single metric, and the company’s continued cost discipline. “If the stock is down tomorrow morning, I would be a buyer.”Munster said Microsoft provided second-quarter Azure constant-currency growth guidance of 37%, slightly above the 36.5% consensus estimate. Meanwhile,&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/SWKS">SWKS’ stock</a> rose as much as 12% with retail sentiment climbing to ‘bullish’ from ‘neutral’ territory, as chatter ticked higher within ‘neutral’ levels.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Terms Of Skyworks-Qorvo Merger</h2>Under the agreement, Qorvo shareholders will receive $32.50 in cash and 0.96 Skyworks shares for each Qorvo share. Following the merger, Skyworks shareholders will own roughly 63% of the combined entity, while Qorvo investors will hold 37%. The transaction will be funded through Skyworks’ cash reserves and debt financing arranged by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, the company said.Phil Brace, currently chief executive of Skyworks, will lead the merged company, while Qorvo CEO Bob Bruggeworth will join its board. The combined board will include 11 members, eight from Skyworks and three from Qorvo.The transaction, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, is expected to close in 2026.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Scale And Synergies</h2>Skyworks said the merger will create a company with about $7.7 billion in annual revenue and $2.1 billion in adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA). It added that this would position both entities to better compete with larger chipmakers. According to Skyworks, the deal is expected to deliver more than $500 million in annual cost synergies within three years.&nbsp;The combined firm will operate a $5.1 billion mobile business and a $2.6 billion “Broad Markets” segment focused on defense, aerospace, edge IoT, automotive, and AI data center applications. Those end-markets, both companies said, offer longer product cycles and higher-margin opportunities.Skyworks and Qorvo said the merger will expand U.S. manufacturing capacity and improve factory utilization across their domestic network. Skyworks, Qorvo To Merge In $22 Billion Semiconductor Deal

(NXPI) reported third-quarter results after the market closed that aligned with guidance and issued a positive outlook for the current quarter, sending its stock up by nearly 2.50% in extended trading and triggering brisk chatter among retailers on the Stockwits platform.<h2 class="st-heading-2">NXP’s Positive Outlook</h2>Eindhoven, Netherlands-based NXP, which manufactures a range of products including microcontrollers and processors, sensors, analog ICs, and connectivity solutions, guided fiscal year 2025 fourth-quarter revenue&nbsp;of $3.20 billion&nbsp;to&nbsp;$3.40 billion and adjusted earnings per share (EPS)&nbsp;of $3.07&nbsp;to&nbsp;$3.49. The midpoints of the guidance ranges are $3.30 billion and $3.28 per share, respectively, compared to the Fiscal.ai-compiled consensus of $3.23 billion and $3.28 per share.&nbsp;Rafael Sotomayor, who is set to take over as CEO on Tuesday following the retirement of Kurt Sievers, said, “Our outlook reflects the strength of our company-specific growth drivers and signs of a cyclical recovery.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">NXP’s Q3 Revenue Falls</h2>NXP reported revenue of $3.17 billion for the third quarter, down 2% year-over-year (YoY), but slightly above the midpoint of the guidance issued in late July and the $3.16 billion consensus estimate. The company noted that it saw broad-based sequential improvement across regional and end markets. The automotive end market, which generated $1.84 billion in revenue, reported sequential growth of 6%. The YoY growth was flat.The adjusted EPS fell 10% YoY to $3.11, exceeding the midpoint of the guidance range, slightly below the $3.12 consensus estimate.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Retail Is Saying About NXP’s Q3 Print</h2>Retail traders on Stocktwits remained ‘extremely bullish’ as of late Monday, although the degree of optimism improved within the zone. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has reportedly partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy on a $1 billion initiative to build two next-generation supercomputers.&nbsp;Energy Secretary Chris Wright and AMD CEO Lisa Su&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-department-energy-forms-1-billion-supercomputer-ai-partnership-with-amd-2025-10-27/">told</a> Reuters that the systems will tackle complex scientific challenges, including nuclear energy research, cancer treatments, and national security applications.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/AMD">AMD’s stock</a> edged 0.32% higher in midday trade on Monday, paring gains after hitting an intra-day record high of $258.47. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the stock improved to ‘neutral’ from ‘bearish’ territory.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Lux Supercomputer To Launch Within Six Months</h2>According to the report, the first system, named Lux, is scheduled to come online within six months. Lux will leverage AMD’s MI355X artificial intelligence chips alongside AMD CPUs and networking components. The project is co-developed with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (ORCL), and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).AMD CEO reportedly said the Lux deployment was the fastest deployment of this size of computer that she has seen. ORNL, HPE, and AMD will lead the design, with delivery expected in 2028 and full operational capability projected for 2029.
