Retail sentiment around the meme token on Stocktwits dipped to ‘bullish’ from ‘extremely bullish’ and chatter fell to ‘high’ from ‘extremely high’ levels over the past day.&nbsp;Meanwhile,&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/XRP.X">XRP’s price</a> took a dive of 2.5% in the last 24 hours. Retail sentiment around the token fell to ‘neutral’ from ‘bullish’&nbsp;territory, but chatter remained at ‘normal’ levels over the past day.&nbsp;According to Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas, the REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) saw $37.7 million in volume, while the REX-Osprey DOGE ETF (DOJE) saw $17 million in volume traded on the first day on the market. XRP, Dogecoin Prices Slide Despite Record First-Day ETF Trading Volumes

According to Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas, the REX-Osprey XRP ETF saw $37.7 million in volume, while the REX-Osprey DOGE ETF saw $17 million in volume traded on the first day on the market.

XRP and Dogecoin exchange-traded funds saw strong investor appetite during their trading debut on Thursday.According to an X post by Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the REX-Osprey XRP ETF, which listed on the CBOE under the ticker XRPR, logged a trading volume of $37.7 million, the largest for any ETF listing this year.In just over an hour of trading, XRPR already booked $24 million in activity, which was five times more than any XRP futures ETF achieved on its debut. “That is way more than I would have thought,” Balchunas said before calling it the standout performer of the day.The strong debut highlighted how investors are looking beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum to park their investment. The XRP coin’s market capitalization currently stands at over $181 billion, higher than heavyweights like BlackRock and Boeing. This cleared a significant hurdle for crypto-focused ETFs, as the SEC earlier required a case-by-case review for any new listing.However, major cryptocurrencies edged lower in the early hours of Friday. Bitcoin prices slipped 0.2% to $116,881, Ethereum fell 0.9% to $4,535.55, and XRP slipped 1.3% to $3.04, according to data from CoinGecko.After reaching record highs of $124,000 in August, Bitcoin prices have stayed below $120,000 over the past few weeks, despite record gains in stock markets and bullion.While the Federal Reserve lowered its benchmark interest rates by 25 basis points earlier this week, Chair Jerome Powell struck a cautious tone, which made investors wonder if the Federal Reserve could deliver lesser-than-expected future cuts.On Friday, approximately $3.5 billion of Bitcoin options are expected to expire, according to Deribit data, which could lead to further volatility.Traders on Stocktwits were ‘neutral’ about <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/BTC.X">Bitcoin</a> at the time of writing. XRP, Dogecoin ETFs Log Robust Trading Debut; Bitcoin Hovers Below $117k

Solana (SOL) outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) and other major altcoins in early morning trade on Friday after Galaxy Digital purchased more than two million tokens over the past 24 hours, following CEO Mike Novogratz’s declaration that it was ‘Solana Season.’Dogecoin (DOGE) also moved higher on speculation, despite the reported delay of the Rex Osprey Dogecoin ETF (DOJE), which was slated to launch later on Friday but has been pushed to next week, according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. “Another delay. Launching next week. Mid-week. Prob[ably] Thurs[day],” he wrote in a&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://x.com/EricBalchunas/status/1966236513517338749">post</a> on X.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/SOL.X">Solana’s price</a> surged more than 6% in the last 24 hours, trading at around $2.40, levels not seen since January this year. Retail sentiment around Solana on Stocktwits also moved higher to ‘bullish’ from ‘neutral’ territory, and chatter jumped to ‘high’ from ‘normal’ levels over the past day.&nbsp;In an&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-in-consolidation-mike-novogratz-sees-solana-ethereum-taking-spotlight/chwN1oPRdvg">interview</a> with CNBC on Thursday, Novogratz described the inflows into Solana as part of a broader ‘Season of SOL,” noting the blockchain’s transaction speed and growing role in financial markets.&nbsp;Following his comments,&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://intel.arkm.com/explorer/entity/galaxy-digital">data</a> from Akham Intelligence showed Galaxy bought SOL tokens for around $480 million in the last 24 hours.Meanwhile,&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/DOGE.X">Dogecoin’s price</a> climbed 3.8% in the last 24 hours, trading at around $0.2605 at the time of writing–a 2-month high for the meme token. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment remained in ‘extremely bullish’ territory amid ‘high’ levels of retail chatter over the past day.&nbsp;Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple’s native token (XRP) also outpaced Bitcoin in early morning trade.&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/ETH.X">Ethereum’s price</a> rose 2.1% and XRP gained 1.3% in the last 24 hours.&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BTC.X">Bitcoin’s price</a>, meanwhile, only edged 0.9% higher, trading just under $115,000.The overall cryptocurrency market rose 1.2% over the last 24 hours, rising to a market capitalization of $4.1 trillion. Crypto futures bets saw around $357 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, according to Coinglass&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.coinglass.com/LiquidationData">data</a>. Long liquidations totaled around $122 million, and short bets amounted to $234 million.&nbsp;Digital asset treasury (DAT) equities also showed cautious optimism, edging higher in pre-market trade. The largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, Michael Saylor-backed Strategy (<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/MSTR">MSTR</a>), rose around 0.74% and the largest publicly traded company with Ethereum on its balance sheet, Bitmine Immersive Technologies (<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BMNR">BMNR</a>), gained nearly 4%.&nbsp;Bitcoin miners like Marathon Holdings (<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/MARA">MARA</a>) and Riot Platforms (<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/RIOT">RIOT</a>) also moved higher.
