What Is Pi Network? Pi Network is a social cryptocurrency, developer platform, and ecosystem designed for widespread accessibility and real-world utility. Supply Model and Mining Mechanism The Maximum Supply of Pi is 100 billion tokens. This remains true despite the fact that all tokens were minted at the genesis as technically required by the blockchain protocol.  Circulating Supply includes all Migrated Mining Rewards and all tokens that entered circulation from other buckets of the allocations, which at its maximum could be summed up to equal the Effective Total Supply.   Pi’s mining rewards are distributed based on an issuance formula that follows a declining exponential model defined in the Pi whitepaper. Users can increase the amount of mining rewards they receive based on their individual contributions to the network, like Security Circles, using utility-based Pi apps, running Nodes, etc. For each month, the amount of Pi to be distributed as mobile balance is capped and determined by the model, regardless of how many people or how many types of mining rewards there are during the month. The capping is achieved by the design of a system-wide base mining rate, and each type of mining rewards to each individual are just a multiplier of this base mining rate. As the monthly supplies always diminish, the base mining rate generally decreases over time.   Fewer Pi may also be issued because the real Pi issuance on the blockchain depends on Pioneers passing KYC and completing all steps required for migration to the Mainnet. Despite all efforts to facilitate and remind Pioneers to complete those required steps, there are always dropoffs along the way, resulting in less than all outstanding mobile balances to be issued on the blockchain. Because of this mechanism, the community issued amount (Migrated Mining Rewards) on the blockchain will likely be closer and closer to a line lower than the 65 billion. This is thus the reason for the variable Effective Total Supply which incorporates this effect. Effective Total Supply results from all Migrated Mining Rewards divided by 65%, as opposed to the Maximum Supply of 100 billion. UnitedHealth shares closed up nearly 9%&nbsp;at a nearly four-month high on Tuesday after Wall Street analysts said&nbsp;the health insurer’s preliminary Medicare Advantage star ratings came in better than feared, even as industry benchmarks for Stars grew tougher.The insurer said about 78% of its members are expected to be in plans rated four stars or higher for Star Year 2026, up from last year and consistent with historical averages.&nbsp;UnitedHealth also reaffirmed its 2025 adjusted earnings outlook,&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/unitedhealth-announces-disappointing-full-year-guidance-q2-earnings/cho9MXLR5Uo">first issued in July</a>, when it forecast revenue of $445.5 billion to $448.0 billion and adjusted earnings of at least $16 per share, down from $27.66 in 2024. The guidance includes the recently closed acquisition of Amedisys.Leerink said the disclosure was “better than feared,” highlighting UnitedHealth’s performance despite tougher Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) cut points and new weighting factors. Denmark’s Maersk, considered a bellwether of global trade, raised its forecast for shipping activity worldwide on Thursday, based on strong demand outside North America.The company expects the global container market to grow between 2% and 4% in 2025, compared with its earlier forecast between a 1% decline and 4% expansion.U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff declarations since April 2 have upended global trade, prompting shippers like Maersk to revise their forecasts. Maersk stated that the effective container-weighted import tariff on U.S. imports is estimated at 24%, as per the Presidential Executive Order dated July 31, up from 5% in 2024.However, Maersk, which holds a 14% market share of the container shipping industry, said that several pockets of growth have emerged. Shipping Giant Maersk Raises Global Container Demand Forecast On Strong Non-US Imports

U.S. stocks are set to extend&nbsp;their momentum in the new week after the broader market scaled a fresh high last Friday. That said, the continuing uncertainty over the Federal Reserve’s rate trajectory, the fate of President Donald Trump’s “one big, beautiful” tax bill and his tariffs, and volatility in commodity prices amid the geopolitical tensions pose risks to the rally.The fresh trading week will be shortened due to the July 4th Independence Day falling on Friday.After a marathon weekend session, the Republican-controlled Senate passed the tax bill by a slender majority of 51-49 votes, with Trump hailing it as a “great victory.”The bill envisions permanent tax cut extensions, new tax cuts, increased border and military spending, cancellation of electric vehicle tax credits, and cuts to Medicaid and nutritional assistance.The Senate-vetted bill is seen to increase deficits by about $3.3 trillion. It now has to be approved by the House before the president signs it into law.&nbsp;As of 11:48 p.m. ET on Sunday, the Dow and the Nasdaq 100 futures rose over 0.50%. The Russell 2000 futures were up 0.48% and the S&amp;P 500 futures gained a more modest 0.38%.Last week, the major averages climbed solidly following the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, which sent crude oil prices lower and alleviated an overhang. According to the strategist, the main reason for the record climb is that the Trump administration has&nbsp;signaled the tariff deadline could be extended.While noting that valuation multiples are lofty, with the S&amp;P 500 approaching 24 times the P/E multiple, Navellier said, “There's clearly a bit of pull forward of earnings expectations; There's also a desire to get in front of the Fed beginning to cut rates.”Carson Group Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick is positioning for a strong finish for the year.
